About Rishi Arts

In Sanskrit, the word ‘Rishi’ means “Saint” and “seers of thought”. They have a deep inner desire to serve humanity and to give to others by sharing knowledge and experience, or creative and artistic ability.

Rishi Arts was founded in 2011 with the vision of UK born musician and arts entrepreneur Rishii Chowdhury. Rishii, a masters in law graduate and an exceptional musician in his own right believes in giving back and serving the community at large.

Within a short space of time, Rishi Arts has developed a reputation of providing quality and nourishing arts based activities and projects such as mentoring, music workshops, lectures, creative writing, storytelling and collaborative music and dance shows.

These activities have taken place across the country with reputable organisations/institutions.

For example, Heartlands Hospital Birmingham, Liverpool World Museum, Leicester New Walk Museum, Birmingham Central Library, Embrace Arts Leicester, University of Leicester and the Cultural Integration Fellowship, San Francisco.
